have been told to expect a 10 mth+ wait to bring her home...
we are aching to hold her in our arms, but there is much yet to be done to get our home ready - this will keep us busy and somewhat occupied in the meantime...
me- practicing using rebozo (wrap baby carrier) with gandalf. he tolerated it the first time...
the trusty ol' machine i've been using to sew part of the nursery layette.

What exciting news - congrats to you both! The pictures are adorable, so much dark hair. How do you pronounce her name? ("Luke"?) I'm totally impressed that you're doing so much sewing in anticipation of her arrival. Of course, it helps to have a MIL who is so good at sewing! :-)

and while you may have to wait a month longer than most moms to hold your child, at least you don't have the discomfort, loss of bladder control and weird cravings that david has to help satisfy :):)

lyndie, i think you should totally take advantage of this "pregnancy" stage, and milk it for all its worth! send david out for food at all hours of the night, nap during the day when you need to, and by all means, go absolutely hormonally crazy!
you know what? in honor of yoselin, i think I will also engage in all of these activities. i think she will appreciate it one day.
