One step= much closer!

It has been a momentous month. Last week, March 5th, David received a phone call from our agency informing us that we had been approved and released from PGN! This is an enormous step! We can now expect to travel to pick up our daughter sometime around the end of APRIL!

Pardon all the exclamation points, but it might be an understatement to describe our reaction as ECSTATIC! This is much earlier than we expected. We have been telling all our friends and family we were expecting to travel sometime between June-August. And my motto has been that I was just hoping she'd be home before her first birthday. However, I know many friends and family have been fervently praying with certain hope that she'd be coming home sooner. God is able to do more than we can ask or think!

Of course, this means we are going to be especially busy as there are still quite a few steps left in our home improvement endeavors. Dad just finished cutting a hole in a wall of our bedroom (to become play/family room) to create a second entrance to our stairs. We have yet to install the shelving and door to the closet in our "new" bedroom upstairs. Then there's moving upstairs, carpet to be installed on the stairs, touch-up painting, and LOTS of cleaning.

Thankfully we were able to quickly get our paperwork in order and nearly everything is set to go. There's just packing to plan.

We are excitedly looking forward to a fundraiser this weekend, largely coordinated by Jodi and Kari, to whom we are inexpressibly grateful. We also recently learned that our grant from GGAM will be open until we acheive our goal. They have promised match funds donated, up to $2500! So there is a ton to be thankful for!
