She spent the majority of the day
yesterday in one or the other and really seemed to dig it. It's great especially when we're feeding
her or walking around or just plain tired out. She doesn't seem to like being away from our touch, except for- we discovered last night- for a good night's sleep. Yes, we are first time parents, and assumed she would sleep better with us. She slept in bed with us the first night, even tho it was pretty rough, but last night, after four hrs of trying to get her to truly fully fall asleep, we finally relented and put her in the crib. She slept soundly for 5 1/2 hrs! and then
another 2hrs after waking up and being fed and rediapered. Foster mom had told us she has slept in a crib always, usually around 8-9 hrs pr night, only occasionally waking up once or twice. I guess we just wanted to keep her near us the first night, but last night we got a great night's sleep and felt so great this morning. She has a little stuffed puppy and special blanket the foster mom gave us and she really seemed to find these soothing. The bath went a lot better this morning too after mommy wised up and put a washcloth on the bottom of the sink so she didn't slip around and had daddy helped hold
her in place. She splashed around a bit and loves to have water poured over her head and back. Maybe we'll go swimming tonite or tomorrow...She's just awakened from a 45min nap and is being a bit fussy for daddy, so we might head out of the room for a change of scenery. She really seems to like being out and about and seeing things, and thankfully this hotel offers a variety of things to do, tho we're hoping to head to the street tonite and stroll around the corner to McD's or a nice restaurant we heard is baby friendly....
Today is Yosi's 8 month birthday. Cumpleanos feliz, Yoselin! TTFN.

I keep checking the blog and keeping everyone at the bank updated. Do we have any stats on what she's weighing now with those chubby little cheeks? She is adorable is the biggest comment we keep hearing from everyone. Just letting you know everyone says hi and have a safe trip.
