david (d'man) is watching "the christmas story". you know, the one where the key line is "you'll shoot your eye out!"?
i was thinking that i would nobly update this blog. but i'm kinda fried. i spent the day with my mom and sister, yosi and claire, baking cookies and eating.
instead i've been browsing around at others' wonderful blogs, and confirmed what i already knew: i don't have alot to offer to blogdom. clever wording /or pictures inserted at just the right spot- i just don't really have anything i'm compelled to share at the moment.
that's okay.
it's still a wonderful life.
and i really enjoy hearing about others adventures and happy times.
there are so many george bailey's for me- people who may not know it, but whose existence remind me to remember to enjoy mine.
bloggers, keep blogging. i'm out there floating around with a goofy grin on my face listening and nodding and being affirmed in my humanity.
above are 2 of about 15 photos by my 3 yr old novice photographer. she was allowed to take photos without hand-over-hand assitance for the first time last night. after every picture of me or d she proudly announced "GOTCHA!" She really got me tho when she avidly started photographing miscellany such as the boots (and markers and paper and computer) etc... Though I can't be 100% sure, I'm pretty sure this instinct was born more of nuture than nature. I should be blushing, but I'm kinda proud as punch.
And today, she drew a Perfect 2in. circle (and then scribble colored it in to indiscernableness).
see, this is the kind of stuff i would go on and on about...
but i shouldn't.

I love when people include the simple things, the everydayness of life in their blogs.
Thanks so much for that video of Yoselin in her new pj's yesterday. I've lost track of how many times I've watched it. Papa loves it too!
Not sure if you noticed, but I have finally after more than a year updated my blog! Nothing earth shattering, but it was fun for me!
love you!
