sometimes i think we don't spend enough time wishing. You wish well. It gives you a space toward which to grow.
(and if you're taking offers, i'll help with Spanish. i'm really good at swear words)
You had me at "Live in Lawrence, KS for a year!" I'm from Colorado and currently live in China, but if I could live anywhere, it would be Lawrence! I lived there for nine years and leaving was one of the hardest things I've done. Why does Lawrence make the list for you? Amy
thanks girls. :)
amy- i was born there. return visits as a teen and young adult made me aware of the charms i was missing out on.
I think we must have lived there in overlapping years ('86-'95) and may have crossed on Mass Street! What a small world. I love it! Amy
A beautiful list. I tend not to make lists or name goals (because I promptly feel overwhelmed), but this list feels different - more gentle, more inspiring. Thank you.
Also (and this is why I just had to leave a comment), my husband and I are dreaming of a life in Lawrence, KS. We are both Texas-raised, spent the last ten years in Chicago, and currently live in Florida, but Lawrence, KS just looks like home to us (though we've only visited a handful of times).
This is wonderful, and were I to make my own list like this, it would probably be a lot of cut and pasting from yours. We have a place for you guys to stay if you ever do get out to the West Coast, we'd love to show it to you. (And maybe try to convince you to stay and be our friends?!)
