Many have asked about our recent vacation to Missouri. It was good. :) We stayed at Big Cedar Resort on Table Rock Lake, about 30 min from Branson. Branson is the home of alot of entertainment acts that we weren't interested in. The draw was FISHING. Our first morning there David and Derek were up at 5:45 am to take Dad's little jon boat out on the lake. Derek caught a couple that first morning, but that's about all the luck anyone had that whole weekend. Poor D got little more than a few hopeful bites. We women split our time between cooking and working on our tans down by the pool. Saturday afternoon we rented a pontoon and a tube and we all played out on the lake for four hours. It was my first time tubing- it was alot of fun, but causes frequent whiplash. We discovered a rope swing hanging from a 20 ft cliff and Kari and I swung and splashed while David climbed, and then jumped from the cliff- the only time he got in the water-he didn't even tube! Perhaps he was having too much fun driving the boat and yanking people around...
well here's the evidence:

aunt leelee had fun too:

I love the Aunt LeeLee....will definitely pass that one on! Shiloh has managed to change my *mana* to *mana anne* ---why that is easier for her to say makes absolutely no sense to me...so now we are papabob and mana anne.
By the way, she even got home that day and started in about "uncle D" again...if she sees him, once he leaves, she will definitely go bonkers with "where is Unca D" "where unca d go?" and all the variations those words can become!
Your trip looks wonderful....I take you had gorgeous weather from the photos. It's going up to 90* today!!! Summer has arrived in Lynchburg.
By the way, I told Shan and the boys about *Aunt Leelee*.They found it quite amusing...of course, Stephan wanted to know who it was that was calling you Leelee already???? I am discovering a conversation with a child is not always as simple as it would seem.
wednesday a.m. and shiloh is sitting on my lap. She just got to see your pix...she is excited...we're working on the "Aunt Leelee", but she's now asking once again all about "uncle D' and unca d in da boat...oh boy!
I know that Dominicans do not allow adoptions for the very reasons ~d gave. Sad, but true.
