We enjoyed the company of all 7 of the Livingston clan and their parents at our Tues nite LIFE group game nite. The house was gently over-run, but didn't feel out of control. Cleyo and Janal manage marvelously, and David basked in the exuberant affection of their sweet girls and jostled baby-Daniel on his lap a few minutes, without so much as a whimper from the now-walking little man.
We recently got a laptop. Whoo-hoo! But don't have internet access yet.
Last nite, soon after I arrived home from a long day of cookie baking, we discovered that a water pipe behind the washer broke and was gushing water all over the back porch. After a couple of frantic phone calls, while trying to coral the water in emty containers, our rescue team were on the way. We'd managed to shut the water off just before Dad, Kari and Derek showed-up. The rest of the evening was spent mopping and fixing, in addition to baking one last batch of cookies. The break was an easy fix and we were back to "normal" in a few hours. Praise God for family.
Thanks, you all, for the encouragement. I admire your "motherhood skills" and look forward to the time when I have a good reason for asking all sorts of advice. Praise God for a family of the Spirit.

Wow! I know what water problems are like. Our pipe wasn't broken but we couldn't get the water to stop running in the toilet. We were pretty panicked also. There was no water shut off valve. Let's just say we used every towel we had in the apartment.
