It's hard to know what to say when every day feels like its so full of reportable moments...
This week has been flying by and yet it feels like we've been home quite a while. Friday's return would be a fuzzy memory if it weren't for the pictures and my journal- did I journal about that?
Yesterday I finally got around to uploading some pics, some of them from as long ago as last Thursday! So which one's do I post? A few days- like Friday and Saturday we only took video. The camera's battery was dead on Friday and we were so busy Saturday... The still shot mode on the video camera is just not the best, tho I managed to get a few shots on Friday.
We've had a boatload of first meetings, with an ARK-FULL to come. We've had alot of other firsts: first night in new bed, first tries with foods (pumpkin w/pear baby food was a big hit -way to go, Daddy!), first bath in big tub, first time petting kitty, first time playing with a myriad of toys, first walk outside, first visit to Broadway Joe's, first meetings with other babies: Owen and Audrey, first stroller ride, first trip to Walmart, first garage sale (today- an adoption fundraiser for a family adopting from Colombia)... Not much different than the average newborn except that everything happens ALOT faster.
Miss Yosi has alot of energy and a cheerful personality when she is awake and well fed, and is most happy to be constantly enertained. Thankfully, she is not overly particular except that she wants a change of toy or scenery no less often than every 10 min, if not less. We are fully aware that this is normal (at least in my experience), but it is nonetheless a bit exhausting, and we look forward to naptimes- tho sometimes they feel a bit too short. Favorites: the kitty (poor Wolbi), a toy piano, books OR most often, anything that we have that looks fun to touch or put in mouth (can you think of anything that DOESN'T?).
Ah well- it's everyone's story. Here are the pics!
