i like shoes as much as the next girl, but what i Really love are barefeet. looking forward to warm weather when we can bare our toes and feel the grass tickle our soles and sand smooth our (my) calloused heels. it's spiritual really, the way i hope for it.

By the way, we went over to the sports complex the other day to watch a soccer tournament Aby was hosting. First thing I did when I got out of the vehicle was take off my shoes! I have never seen so much beautiful green grass in the DR in one place before! felt so good to walk in it!
