Oh, Lyndie that is so sad to read! To think of all those families that are still waiting to complete their adoptions. And then to read about how many babies were abandoned... I thought the initial purpose was to protect against illegal adoptions taking place. I can understand the need for that, but.... No pun intended but the old saying is true: they sort of thru the baby out with the bath water.
