We spent nearly the entire day outside today. We walked to church in the park this morning. Yosi and i napped (I really needed it, after staying up til 2am to finish "twilight"- david's fault for tempting me into reading it!). We spent the rest of the afternoon outside: eating, reading the newspaper, watching and helping Yosi play all the perfect childhood games: hiding out in a box, playing tea party (with water), swinging... We were happily under-par with whining episodes today. Water is a magical elixer.
Grandpa (my dad) came over to help us "install" a swing we'd been given LAST summer.
Gandalf enjoyed discovering the box and Y was thrilled to discover him in it. Alas, it is only a one-occupant dwelling, in the cat's opinion. 
And to top it all off- we discovered that several of our pumpkin seeds are sprouting! This garden thing just might work...

Isn't summer a wonderful thing? Yosi is looking so much older in these pictures - looks like her hair is really growing!
(I just finished Twilight too - thanks to a short work related trip to Florida!)
