here's the baby bed, filled with the things i've collected, many from garage sales. dad brought it over, and he and david set it up on monday. $15- and it came with mattress and 2 fitted sheets!
we went to rachel's parents house (in IN) for fireworks. every year her dad spends LOTS of money and puts on quite a show in their backyard. the boys had ALOT of fun helping set them all up. the show lasted at least an hr, with patriotic music blaring in the background. at the same time, the neighbors were setting off theirs and we could see the nearby town's and neighbors' displays on surrounding horizons. *l* it was like a natn'l geographic slice on american rural life. priceless. just as the last rockets finished blowing it began to drizzle and then to pour. we were drenched in our mad dash to the car, but we had fun. what a Fourth!
